General Questions

Am I right for UIT?

Land a job or launch a startup — no coding experience necessary

We don't necessarily look for previous education or coding experience. We look for:

  • An aptitude for self-directed learning
  • A desire for a career in the technology industry

In other words, we look for ambition and potential.

The 2014/15 and 2015/16 cohorts were each composed of 12 students – 6 women and 6 men – who ranged from recent high school graduates to Master's students. Some had coding experience or business degrees, while others had little to no coding experience or experience turning an idea into a product. Some entered the program with an idea already fully formed, while others were looking to gain the skills to get a job in the tech sector or launch their own startup.
