StudentCon 2017: Tech Education In Cape Breton – What Works And What Doesn’t?

February 17 @ 1:15 pm - 2:30 pm

UIT students have just wrapped up an intensive 40-hour professional communications workshop with Ian McNeil. Now it’s time to put their new skills to the test! Scroll down for the video of this event.

StudentCon is an internal conference of sorts that will give the students a chance to practice some of the things they’ve learned about, such as making introductions, giving speeches, interviewing and being interviewed.

And we’re inviting some friends and family to join us as attendees and participants.

The topic for this year’s StudentCon is “Tech Education In Cape Breton – What Works And What Doesn’t?” All learners have a unique experience with their education; and what works for some doesn’t work for others. Hear what they think; and let us know what you think!
